I’m Valentina Bianchi, founder of Valentina Bianchi Wedding Studio. I take on a small number of couples each year, and I’ll be the one beside you throughout the planning of your multi-day destination wedding on the lake.

Together, we’ll create a weekend where you, your guests and Italy are part of the same story. 

Picture your wedding weekend on Lake Maggiore

Your guests arrive by boat for a dinner on the island, a glass of prosecco in hand as the sun goes down over  the lake. The next day, you’re getting ready in a villa above the water with nothing left to manage and your phone safely out of reach.

Between the big moments, the days slow down.

There’s time to explore the lake towns, sleep in or linger over lunch. One day flows into the next, and everything fits together. 

Then, at the farewell brunch, someone asks how you pulled it all off.

You will welcome your guests, sharing the weekend with them and actually being there for it. Planning a wedding in Italy from the U.S. means working across two cultures at once, and that’s the part I take off your hands.

I am Italian, but my company is based in the U.S., so as your full-service wedding planner, I translate how Italy works into a planning process that feels familiar to you.

I bring you in when something needs your attention, but most of all, I handle everything that doesn’t, so when the weekend arrives, you can actually enjoy everything you came to Italy for.

Lake Maggiore is home

I was born in Milan and have lived on Lake Maggiore for more than ten years. Stresa is what I now call home, but the lake still has a way of making me see it with fresh eyes. Maybe it’s simply because the scenery never really becomes ordinary.

That local knowledge matters when a beautiful idea has to work for a real guest list and a real timeline.

If a project elsewhere in Italy is the right fit, I plan it with local partners I trust and stay your single point of contact.

The multi-day celebrations I handle typically start at €100,000 for 60 to 70 guests, with full-scale production and a carefully selected team of vendors.
